Quintana Roo
Cancun is a tourist city situated in the state of Quintana Roo, in the peninsula of Yucatan in the southeast of Mexico. The peninsula of Yucatan is composed of many gaps and swamps of mangrove, and is found surrounded by coral and incredible reefs beaches of white sand bathed by the Caribbean Sea. Several islands are found in their edges: Cozumel, Island Mujeres, Island Holbox and Contoy.
